This milestone event, envisioned as a turning point for establishing a new global consensus on multilateral and generational solutions, aligns with GCRI’s mission of advancing sustainable innovation, risk management, and resilience building. Through the launch of the Nexus Report, the Global Risks Index (GRIx), and showcasing the results of its campaigns, GCRI aims to underscore its pivotal role in shaping global strategies for a sustainable future.
Board Member Involvement:
Pre-Summit Mobilization: Engage in pre-summit dialogues and forums to build momentum and ensure the GCRI’s initiatives are aligned with the summit’s goals.
At the Summit: Act as GCRI ambassadors, participating in discussions, panels, and networking events to advocate for the center’s contributions and goals.
Post-Summit Advocacy: Continue to promote the summit’s outcomes and GCRI’s ongoing initiatives, ensuring that the momentum is maintained and translated into concrete actions and collaborations.
The Nexus Report
Overview:
The Nexus Report is a comprehensive quarterly publication that reflects GCRI's collaborative efforts with local communities and national working groups. It provides a national portfolio for each country, highlighting innovative practices, challenges, and progress in addressing global risks and fostering sustainability.
Role at the Summit:
Evidence-Based Insights: The Nexus Report will offer evidence-based insights and best practices from around the world, informing discussions and decision-making processes at the Summit.
Highlighting Local Solutions: By showcasing local solutions to global challenges, the report emphasizes the importance of grassroots initiatives and the value of localized approaches to sustainability and risk mitigation.
Board Support:
Advocacy: Leveraging networks to advocate for the Nexus Report’s insights and recommendations within their professional circles, including policymakers, industry leaders, and academic institutions.
Dissemination: Utilizing platforms and social media presence to disseminate the report widely, ensuring it reaches a broad audience prior to the Summit.

Board Support:
