This page belongs to the Nexus Agile Framework (NAF), read as the delivery method of the Foundry pillar: how the systems are specified, built, verified and handed on through the programme year, from signal to record, from record to evidence and from evidence to controlled release. A configured or simulated capability is not a validated result, and a National Portfolio entry is not an investment decision; a lawful handoff prepares a decision, it never makes one. The method aligns with international practice ([Beck et al. 2001](https://agilemanifesto.org/); [OMG 2011](https://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/2.0/)). {% hint style="info" %} **Read with the current model (21 October 2026).** NAF is read as the method of the [Foundry pillar](/organization/programme/foundry.md), the pillar that builds, simulates and prepares, and of the [twenty systems](/organization/systems.md) it works on. System names follow the [Nexus Standards](/organization/institutions/nexus-standards.md) display codes: `GRIx` is NXS-GRX (risk data, provenance and federation), `Nexus Studio` is NXS-STU, `Nexus Rails` is NXS-RLS, and `Nexus Labs` is the Labs pillar with NXS-LAB. Technology readiness follows ISO 16290, which defines nine levels; level 10 in this framework is a Nexus extended record, not an ISO level ([ISO 2013](https://www.iso.org/standard/56064.html)).
