# FORUM

**Where this fits:** all six sectors · [Nexus Universe](/organization/programme/universe.md) · The Global Risks Forum (GRF) · Action Week (Q3) and the convenings of the programme year · convening guide.

**In brief.** This page is the landing of FORUM. GRF convenes and governs programmes; it does not regulate, finance, procure or certify, and hosting or sponsorship confers no authority over findings.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Read with the current model (21 October 2026).** [The Global Risks Forum](/organization/institutions/grf.md) (GRF) is an independent consortium steward, a Swiss association with its own mandate and legal identity, alongside GCRI Canada and the Global Risks Alliance; none is the parent, agent or regulator of another ([GRF in the Consortium](https://globalriskforum.com/about/consortium-role/)). GRF stewards Nexus Universe and records each programme gate; its convenings, Action Week included, belong to the programme year ([Nexus Universe at GRF](https://globalriskforum.com/nexus-universe/); [The programme year](/organization/programme/the-programme-year.md)). Learning at the forum gives completion records, not credentials ([Risk Academy](/organization/programme/academy.md)). Convenings on disaster risk follow the Sendai Framework priorities ([UN General Assembly, 2015](https://www.undrr.org/publication/sendai-framework-disaster-risk-reduction-2015-2030)) and the Early Warnings for All agenda ([United Nations, 2022](https://www.un.org/en/climatechange/early-warnings-for-all)); continuity planning follows ISO 22301 ([ISO, 2019](https://www.iso.org/standard/75106.html)). Everything here is in formation; the current service level is R0, information and enquiries ([Programme status](https://therisk.global/consortium/programme-status/)).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.therisk.global/organization/operations/forum.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
