# INSTITUTIONS

The institutions of the Nexus programme: GCRI Canada, the Global Risks Forum, the Global Risks Alliance and the Nexus Consortium, their roles, and their public sites.

The Nexus programme is carried by not-for-profit institutions. This part says who they are, what role each holds, and where each publishes. It uses the PPP V5 public wording; counsel review of that wording is pending, and title, corporate relationships and grants remain subject to verification and to the applicable instruments.

## What passes between the three institutions

The three institutions are separate. What one hands to another is a document a reader can inspect, and decisions stay with the competent authorities outside the programme ([Nexus Consortium relationship](https://globalriskforum.com/global-cooperation/consortium/)).

GCRI supplies evidence and runs the Secretariat, with GCRI Canada as Lead Institution and lead contracting organization; GRF leads leadership, dialogue and Nexus Universe stewardship; GRA leads finance, insurance and development readiness. Four documents pass between them: GCRI sends GRF an evidence brief with labels, sources and limits; GRF sends GCRI a question note with an accountable owner; GRF sends GRA an outcome note, shared with consent; GRA sends GRF an options note, never a transaction or an approval. National Nexus structures own the national agenda and send material questions to GCRI. ## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.therisk.global/organization/institutions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
