Quarterly and special meetings; advises GA, collaborates with GSB and SLBs.
Global Stewardship Board (GSB)
Guides strategic direction, oversees global standards.
Approves strategic plans, budgets, and major initiatives. Consensus-driven decisions.
Regular sessions, annual review; works closely with RSBs, NWGs, TCs.
Regional Stewardship Boards (RSB)
Adapts global mission to regional contexts.
Implements and proposes regional projects, represents GCRI in forums. Collaborative decision-making.
Regular meetings, strategic planning; inputs to GSB, collaboration with NWGs.
Specialized Leadership Boards (SLB)
Technical oversight and direction.
Approves technical projects, oversees Technical Councils. Decisions by collaborative process.
Quarterly meetings, annual review; guides TMDs, collaborates with GSB.
National Working Groups (NWGs)
National implementation of GCRI standards.
Advocates for standards, conducts local projects. Consensus on decisions.
Regular meetings, national symposiums; feedback to RSBs, SLBs.
Technical Councils (TC)
Develops technical standards and projects.
Proposes initiatives, reviews technical documents. Consensus or majority for decisions.
Annual reviews, stakeholder meetings; supports SLB initiatives.
Management Board (MB)
Manages GCRI's day-to-day operations.
Implements strategies, allocates resources. Collaborative decisions under CEO's guidance.
Quarterly reviews, strategic planning; executes GSB strategies, supports RSBs and NWGs.
Technical Management Divisions (TMD)
Executes technical projects and standards.
Designs and executes research projects. Decision-making led by Division Directors.
Technical reviews, collaboration workshops; guided by SLB, operational support from MB.
Central Bureau (CB)
Administrative and operational support.
Manages finances, resources, and logistics. Decisions centralized under CEO.
Strategy and coordination meetings; supports all GCRI bodies for smooth operations.
President
Represents and leads GCRI globally.
Calls GA and GSB meetings, represents GCRI externally. Strategic decisions in consultation with GSB.
Strategic leadership meetings; oversees GA sessions, high-level external engagements.
CEO
Oversees GCRI's daily operations.
Directs operations, implements GA and GSB policies. Operational decisions within approved framework.
Operational planning, coordination with GSB; leadership and oversight across GCRI.
Stewardship Committee (SC)
Bridges strategic and operational aspects.
Executive decisions on strategic matters. Consensus between President and CEO.
Strategic alignment, operational reviews; liaison with GSB, coordination across GCRI.
Division Directors/Managers
Lead specific GCRI divisions.
Propose projects, manage division resources. Strategic direction from SLB, operational decisions by directors.
Strategy sessions, project reviews; collaboration across divisions and with SLB.
Deans & Principal Researchers
Drive GCRI's research agenda.
Formulate research strategies, approve projects. Decision-making on research direction.
Research planning, interdisciplinary forums; collaboration with SLB, TCs for integrating research into standards.
Software Engineering Leads
Develop technological tools and platforms.
Lead software projects, select technologies. Technical decisions within project scope.
Technology strategy sessions, innovation workshops; support TCs, operational integration with CB.
