## Nexus Ecosystem

refers to the collaborative and integrated network established by the Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) and its entities, the Global Risks Alliance (GRA) and the Nexus Standards Foundation (NSF), designed to support and implement the objectives of the Earth Cooperation Treaty (ECT). This ecosystem encompasses technology, research, policy frameworks, and shared resources aimed at fostering global sustainability and security.

## Nexus Standards

refers to the set of guidelines and protocols developed by the Nexus Standards Foundation (NSF) that define the quality, safety, and sustainability criteria for projects and technologies within the Nexus Ecosystem. These standards are designed to ensure interoperability, consistency, and excellence in the execution of projects aligned with the ECT.

## Nexus Governance

refers to the governance framework that oversees the implementation and operation of the Nexus Ecosystem. This framework ensures that the Nexus Standards are adhered to and that collaborative efforts within the ecosystem are managed effectively, aligning with the overarching goals of the ECT.

## Collective Risk Management

refers to the coordinated approach to identifying, assessing, and responding to risks that threaten the security, stability, or environmental integrity of the global community. This approach is a fundamental aspect of the activities under the Nexus Ecosystem, aiming to mitigate risks through shared strategies and resources.

## Collective Security&#x20;

refers to the security regime built upon the mutual guarantees and strategic collaborations between the Parties to the Agreement. This concept underlines the belief that security for one is security for all, implemented through the proactive sharing of information, resources, and mutual support to prevent or respond to threats.

## Collective Sustainability&#x20;

refers to the commitment to uphold and advance sustainable practices that benefit all parties involved, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. This involves integrated efforts across environmental, social, and economic dimensions, promoting resilience, conservation, and responsible stewardship of resources.
